The Role of This Resource

This is a private reference site. It is not a St. Charles Parish office and does not store the official records maintained by SCSO, the 29th Judicial District Court, the Clerk of Court, DPS&C, BOP, or ICE. It cannot confirm that someone is in custody, direct a jail release, change a record, post bond, or file a document with an agency or court.

The site organizes links and explanatory material about St. Charles Parish inmate and release records. It may also connect visitors to third-party research tools. Louisiana government records may be available under the Louisiana Public Records Act, R.S. 44:1 et seq., but each government custodian decides access under that law and its exceptions.

Acceptable and Prohibited Use

Visitors must use the site lawfully and in a way that does not harm people, systems, or other users. In particular, a visitor must not:

• Use the site in violation of any applicable law or court order
• Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person

St. Charles Parish Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not offer FCRA-covered screening services through this site. By using this resource, a visitor agrees not to use its content for:

• A decision to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker
• Tenant selection, housing access, or lease decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance rates and eligibility
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit or program
• Any other eligibility decision governed by the FCRA
